Jimmy Dygos

Hey there! I'm Mike, your go-to DJ for making your special event unforgettable. Born and raised in West Milford, NJ, I have been immersed in the world of music and entertainment for my entire life. My DJing apprenticeship began when my Dad, DJ Ronny D, started taking me to gigs at the age of 10. By the time I was 16, I put together a system and started booking jobs on my own and what started as part time hobby quickly turned into a lifelong passion. The past 20+ years in this industry have allowed me to hone my craft while setting the stage for a career that blends my love for music with a touch of creative flair.

When it comes to DJing, my favorite part is being completely in sync with the crowd. There's nothing quite like reading the room, anticipating what the audience wants to hear next, and throwing in a few unexpected gems to keep everyone on their toes. Whether you're planning a wedding, corporate event, or any celebration that needs that extra spark, I'm here to make sure your event goes off without a hitch.

Outside of my DJing duties, I work in video production and am also an active volunteer firefighter, alongside my brother and father. My background in film and video production has given me a unique perspective on how to create memorable moments and enhance the overall experience.

When I’m not spinning tracks or crafting the perfect playlist for your event, you can usually find me searching for and collecting vinyl records to enjoy at home. Although being able to snag any track in an instant at any given time is now a huge advantage to all DJs, I still enjoy browsing my favorite record store for something I didn't know I was looking for. Then bringing it home to open the plastic, check out the artwork and play the album from start to finish. I believe music truly does create the soundtrack to your life, and sometimes that soundtrack calls for nonstop dance floor bangers and other times it's a spinning a low key record on the turntable at home.
